What's on?, Where?, When?

Zion Jubilee Tour
	In September 2006 eight gospel singers from Bryan, Texas toured the deanery. They were led by Rev Matt Idom. The Zion Jubilees were formed fifty years ago.

On their tour they performed around the Deanery including: the Midlands Game Fair at Weston Park, and events in Wheaton Aston, Penkridge, Brewood and Blymhill. Perhaps their most interesting venue was a giant horticultural "polytunnel" At Essington Fruit Farm, courtesy of the Simkin family.

They were joined at Essington Fruit Farm by Keith Wills, Christian conjuror and evangelist. Keith started the day by performing and preaching at the Church of St. Mary & St. Luke, Shareshill. After the fruit farm he preached at the evening service at St John's, Essington.
