The AreaHoly Ascension Church is on the Lower Farm Estate in the northern part of the parish. The housing is mixed consisting of both private and council. There are a number of multi-storey council flats and several smaller blocks occupied by the elderly.

The ChurchHoly Ascension church is a small, informal community based church with quite a lively approach to worship. In term-time our friendly Sunday School meets regularly. Refreshments and a chance to chat follow every morning service. Weekday activities based at Holy Ascension include Rainbow Brownies and Brownies.
