Walsall Deanery is a large urban deanery in the north of the West Midlands conurbation. It is about 8 miles north west of Birmingham, 6 miles east of Wolverhampton, 9 miles west of Lichfield and some 8 miles south of Cannock Chase. The deanery has the opportunity to influence the lives of a quarter of a million people. However diverse are the parishes, in size and style and personality, we all work together that the Gospel may be seen and heard in our corner of the world. We need to be aware of our commonality so that we may pray for and support one another. There are 16 parishes in the deanery both large and small. Some are team ministries and have several churches whilst others are the usual parish with one church. The age of the churches vary enormously from those which are several hundred years old to those which are very modern.

Please note that there is no longer a Parish of Palfrey. Part is now in the Parish of Fullbrook and part in the Parish of Caldmore.
