St. John's Parish, Tipton is in the Diocese of Lichfield, the Archdeaconry of Walsall and the Deanery of Wednesbury. It is in the black country just a few miles north of Dudley, about 3 miles south of Wednesbury and 3 miles to the west of West Bromwich. Birmingham is to the east, Walsall is to the north east and Wolverhampton is to the north west.
